It’s been forever since I have last blogged and I have been dreading finally sitting down and writing about it. A ton has happened and I feel like I’ve grown a lot in the last month. I went to my last orientation. Hopefully the second to last time that I’ll see all of the people with me in District 1940. We had a great time, though I am more excited for the next rotary event coming up, Eurotour. To be honest, I really don’t know if I am ready for Eurotour. Every oldie I have ever talked to talked like this was the beginning of the end of exchange. I am not ready to go home. I don’t want to go home. Not because I like German, Germany, or exchange, but because I am going to miss the other exchange students. They are the people most responsible for changing me. They’re as much of a reason as both my exchange family and my family at home for my growing and becoming a better person. Before March, I dreamed about what it would be like going home once. This month I’ve dreamt about being home three times. But as much as going home is one of things I have to do in the future, a bit more is on my mind right now.
First of all, I have an appointment at the dentist tomorrow. I have been having a bit of tooth pain for a while so I am gonna have an appointment to make sure nothing needs to be done before Eurotour. After that, next Tuesday I have something that I am really excited for. I have the great chance to go to the Germany vs Brazil game in Berlin. A bunch of the exchange students are going, although we aren’t sitting next to each other. I know a couple of the Brazilians are also going so hopefully it won’t get to tense. Also starting after this week ends is Easter break, so I’ll have two weeks off of school. The last Sunday of Easter break, it’s onto the buses to hit the road to Dresden to start Eurotour.
