Sachsenhausen

The last couple of days have been a blur. I’ve been to a few Christmas markets in town. They’re really fun and covered in lights and it’s great. There are a bunch of stands that sell crafts like scarves. The big event of the weekend was going to Sachsenhausen, a concentration camp around Berlin. It was indescribable.

The sign says, “Neutral zone: You will be immediately be shot without warning.”

Today we went ice skating and it was really nice. We had out first snow this evening and it is starting to feel like Christmas time. It is really strange being away home for Christmas but I’m not sad. I’m excited to be experiencing new things.
